A solo exhibition of mixed media and encaustics works from my “Horizons” series of abstract landscapes. Using only bands of varying widths and textures — including strands of thread strung across the surface of the painting — I challenge myself to create a real sense of space and distance, while also pushing the colors beyond the palette of the natural world.
