“Wow! My heart skipped a beat the first time I saw this amazing piece. The drama created by the dark colors combined with the linear patterns, the ever-changing textures, and the silver twisted wire evokes so much emotion in such a small space. Hilary’s masterful use of encaustic combined with the mixed media entertains one’s soul in her creation. As a sailor, I don’t ever want to be caught in this squall. This painting denotes the fine line between abstract and realism. Kudos Hilary!!”
