Organized by Newton Open Studios director Claudia Fiks, “Let There Be Light” invited artists of all career stages to submit up to three pieces of artwork that explore the concept of light as a catalyst in their creative process. The exhibition aims to ignite contemplation on how light can infuse life, raise awareness, and spotlight subjects that demand attention. Works on view present the symbolic connotations of light, representing knowledge, enlightenment, hope, and spiritual awakening within their creations.
